Doing Business in the Camden Haven
The Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism is a voluntary partnership of around 100 business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in your local community. It has been in continuous operation for more than 25 years. Members businesses are listed with a brief description of their business. Chamber Objectives
- To promote good commercial practice among
local businesses;
- To facilitate education amongst business
proprietors & staff;
- To conduct the Association’s affairs
professionally and as an example to its members;
- To enhance the attraction of the Camden Haven
area;
- To encourage cooperation amongst local businesses
for the common good;
- To create regular forums for discussion of
matters affecting Camden Haven businesses;
- To communicate with members regularly with
emphasis on advising changed circumstances in business &
local issues;
- To create dialogue with other Chambers of
Commerce in the Hastings Local Government Area;
- To forge strong positive links with Port
Macquarie/Hastings Council;
- To initiate & maintain links with other
local business, professional & community groups &
service clubs;
- To promote the use of local suppliers &
products;
- To initiate and maintain links with appropriate
State & Federal government departments & agencies,
especially in regard to receiving funding support;
- To undertake various fundraising activities
to support the Association’s endeavours.
Management Committee 2008-09
The Chamber of Commerce is run by a management board that is elected annually by the Chamber members. Sub-committees of the Board are formed from time to time to pursue specific issues relating to one or more business sectors.

Membership
The annual membership fee of $50 covers 12 months from
1 May to 30 April.
